It seems to be the time for funerals at the moment. Like stonedsamurai, I was also at a funeral yesterday - my Grandad's. He had been very ill for a long time, and in a way visiting in hospital during his final weeks was harder than the funeral itself, but that didn't make it any less of an emotional and thought-provoking occasion. I have internet in my flat! Oh yes, simple things make me very happy indeed. Moving's pretty much done, so now I can concentrate on getting things ready for New Zealand. Finally, I have moved, and I am very very very happy about it. I love my new flat, even though it's a bit bare and not very homely at the moment. Admittedly it'll take me and Helga a good few journeys to move everything, and another mammoth IKEA trip is needed to buy bookcases, but as long as the car radio is working then all is good.
