My Yule log is awesome, if I do say so myself. It looks like I just cut if off an icing sugar-covered chocolate tree. I don't even want to eat any of it, it looks so pretty! Sometimes it's very easy to focus on the things that are "bad" or missing in life, rather than on the positive things. I know that I sometimes forget that I'm seriously lucky - I have a wonderful, supportive family, fantastic friends and lots of things to do and look forward to. Ooh, my journal now looks nice and gothic... it probably won't stay like this for long, but it fits my current mood rather well.

I bought such a beautiful dress yesterday, but seeing as I am now no longer going to Dave's party on Friday, I have nowhere to wear it to. I might wear it to Sainsbury's, just for the sake of it!

I have discovered a much faster way of uploading photos to LJ (hurrah!) so now there are some random ones from the Lovers Need Lawyers Xmas Party available for viewing, for those as wish to see them.
