I've been neglecting this thing hardcore in favor of myspace lately, and that makes me feel dirty. :( MySpace is the devil.

I've come to realize today that without a doubt my biggest problem as far as not being able to play as well as I like stems from lack of conditioning. On my first shift or two (or first bit in practice) I skate like an absolute maniac. I'm bright-eyed and quick to react, I see the ice and make plays. Started off by sleeping in til noon. Then I went thrifting (Michigan and OBT goodwills) and got some nice stuffs:

OMGPRAIRIEDOGS! Heh. The Denver area is absolutely infested with the things, and they're soooo cute! Actually we saw quite a bit of random wildlife on our trip, including a couple of elk/deer on the road from the airport and bunnies all around the hotel. This weekend was... interesting.

Kicked things off by hanging out with my teammates friday night, watching some playoff hockey, playing poker and getting totally drunk off my ass.
