Every day Kuri and I will be posting a new activity post leading up to the release of Book 7. It's technically a week away, but I'm sure a good majority of Harry Potter fans will be getting their books Friday at midnight. I know I wouldn't be able to stand the wait. Whilst watching tonights episode of Doctor Who on the SciFi Channel, there were two reference to Harry Potter and a shout out to J.K by the Doctor himself, as part of the episode.

It was brilliant!!

Hooray for midnight showings of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix...

...boo for having to get up the next morning and go to work.

Thought I'd share - this is my Dark Mark for tonight. It's essentially a test run for next Friday, but I think it works for tonight.

So, is anyone doing anything special for either the book or movie midnight releases? Dressing up, going to one of the parties, spazzing out and flailing wildly as year long waits come to and end?

I'm personally going to the midnight deals for both, though not dressing up, regrettably. Alas. ...Anyone else happen to live in Southern California?
