Wow. Thank you so much for writing this! I am bookmarking and will use it for reference in the future.

I'm child-free myself and although I'm in no rush to get sterilized as I'm already on birth control, I would like sterilization to be an option in the future. I've had *zero* desire to be pregnant since I was 15 and I know my thoughts and beliefs are not going to change.

Still read the whole thing. I just like the way you write. You should write textbooks; they would be a whole lot more interesting.

Came from your post on childfree. I have to say, I enjoy your writing style!

I'm technically a fencesitter (I find the likelihood of my reproducing extremely unlikely though), and I'm really happy with my Paragard IUD because it means I'm temporarily sterile for all intents and purposes.

But, oh man, the BS women get when they want to be sterilized just pisses me off. None of the guys I know who got vasectomies got that kind of crap.
