Our appointment and beginnings of organization couldn’t have a better timing, Doctor House, with this virus making plenty of the population so sick lately. Now, may I have your attention, please? Doctor House and I have monitored with concern the lack of a viable vaccination schedule present in the City. We have no information about your clinic ( Read more... )

Two oranges say that more than three people won't know what we're talking about for the second question.

Why bet for what I know for certain will happen? When they don't know, we will know we have to take measures.

I'm supposed to volunteer at the hospital. 200 hours.

Ah. Yes? What specific area do you wish to volunteer?

I would ask him, in this case, Miss. May I have your name, please?

Why concern?

The idea of vaccinations in this place is ludicrous. It would be a waste of public funds and of manpower, and being that vaccinations are themselves a weakened form of the virus itself, could do more harm than good because of the variety of the city's population.

Nobody in the city needs vaccinations, because by all logic there should be thousands of exotic diseases that nobody has any natural resistance to. It seems as if this City doesn't want us to be sick under normal circumstances, and this rash of whatever it is is unusual and worrisome.

We should all be very much dead.

Sir and Lilith-sensei if I may--personally, coming from a time where there is nothing concrete to aid in fighting certain diseases, I find that vaccinations--especially for those here from the past--are vital.

I assure you, saving lives is never a waste.

Even if we cannot fight whatever diseases are native to this world, we can prevent those from Earth and its various parallel versions from undully infecting anyone.

And exactly what credentials to you have, with regard to this opinion?

Do you understand the associated risks that vaccination presents even in a generalized, homogenous group? The risk for mutation and evolved resistance?

We could, perhaps, prevent a few people from getting nasty cases of dengue fever.

We could more likely kill everyone.

I know that what I'm saying may seem to be cruel or cynical, but it is a necessary opinion to present.

I would make my own remarks on the matter but you seem to have summed up my opinions. Mass cross-world vaccinations are a reckless, suicidal idea. Even at home, giving Muggles vaccinations to magical disease would kill them. Who knows what Pandora's box such a thing would open here.

Just let me check if you didn't catch this wandering bug. You'll be fine very soon.

Rena IS fine. It's more important that plans be put under way. This disease going around... Could it be THEM!? I know that they'd been looking into different viruses. If it is...I-I CAN'T WAIT any longer.

You can check...but it seems Oyashiro-sama believes that the time has stretched out far too long...
