I can't believe Nationals are this Saturday.  It feels like yesterday when Jules told everyone what this years show was.  All-States went well.  I don't feel bad about King Philip beating us again.  I'd rather be beaten by them and have a good show than have a bad show and win, as some other competitions in the past.  It feels better this way.  It' ( Read more... )

So my schedule wasn't fucked up.  They were just JK'ing. LOL.  The schedule I wanted and created based on Daves and my messed up one was actually the one the school had in their computer system.  Someone fucked up and put the old screwy schedule in my envelope and sent it on its way.  At least thats over.

Thursday rocked.  The Cadets are awesome.  One of the staff from the Cadets was from England and said that drum corps is big in Europe too and that DCI is idolized over there.  People in England fly over to the US just to watch the Cadets perform.  AND I SHOOK THEIR HANDS!  It was really amazing to be on the field with them and have them say, "You ( Read more... )

Leadership camp was awesome.  It was very intense and I learned a lot, especially about myself.  I really hope I can do a good job, because I know that's inside of me.  I just need to be comfortable and not afraid of failure or sucess.  I can say I am beginning to actually understand myself.  It was a great two days.
