Well, today I went to Curves, had lunch, and Victor got the oil changed in the truck, took pictures at the cemetary, had lunch with me, and found a tool for free at a junkyard. We left AZ on Sat. and made it to Santa Rosa, NM. and last night we stayed in St. Johns, KS. My mom died on Aug. 5. My bros. and I were there and we held her hands. So far, no adventures, and I have a terrible attitude. I'm tired and sad and grouchy. Other than that.. -
travel
I found a trip to London on line and so Victor, Catherine and I are going on May 11 and returning on May 18 I think. Anyway, something like that. It keeps costing a little bit more and I wonder if I have been bait-and-switched, but I don't think so. We are back from our cruise and it was great fun. We had some very rough seas, and some very good music(a classical string quartet) and beautiful jungles and so it had everything we could ask for and more ( Read more... ) -
The road to adventure
We are in Tampa now, visiting with friends of Victor's from the old Navy days. They have been married for 48 years and tell each other I love you often. They care for each other deeply and it's really inspiring. They are also confirmed cruise groupies and are very excited about our cruise. As am I, now. The Great Journey
We are in Medina, Tx right next to a lake. It's beautiful and there are hundreds of white tail deer all over--bucks, does, fawns. We left Fri. a.m. and made it to Van Horn Tx the first day. Today we got here, about 40 mi. N of San Antonio. We may come back this way and spend 2-3 days here and "do" San Antonio ( Read more... ) -
