yes i actually have to live here and work here and i've made friends with people from the area, and for the most part, they are AWESOME....but they're all academics or connected to academics.  it is like i live in an academic bubble sometimes.  i work with people who are married to academics, i hang out with people who are married to academics.  i ( Read more... )
