No inauguration for me
*sigh* I just called to confirm. Because I graduated, I can't attend the Presidential Inaugural Conference next year, even though I was invited. T-T Darn, I was really looking forward to that, too. -
Draft completed
I've got the draft of my completed paper done. From cover page through the references, the entirety covers 68 pages. I think I might have forgotten a figure, though, so that will add another page. Aww! I just got an email from my supervisor last year informing me that one of my former students wants to know how to get one of his prom pictures to me later in the year and if I'll be coming to his graduation.
It's little stuff like that that really makes me miss the school setting! -

I'm just totally blown away by the news of Robert Jordan's passing. It's so odd, but it feels like I've lost a friend.
Farewell, Robert Jordan. The world and story you created have brought me countless hours of joy, and you will be sorely missed.
