"C'mon," he whined quietly, his bare heel hitting the bucket of water balloons as he shifted from his position sitting forward in his lawn chair. As much as Naruto had begged him, his father hadn't splurged on a luxury apartment for them. The place they lived in was nice (very nice), but it had a crappy view (a barber shop across the street) and didn't have any grand staircases or crystal chandeliers. The whole point of being rich, so Naruto thought, was showing it off; he didn't have that much to show. Enough money to pay for his college education didn't impress Naruto the way it impressed his father
