i should probably share something amusing. how about the woman who came in with her children and asked if it was dangerous for her young son to eat dog poop. Just to clarify: yes, it is. Don't you do it and please stop small children from doing it. And wash your hands before you eat. Geez, people.

had this sweet dog in this week with dying kidneys. and thus the dog was dying. the acute event in this youngish dog that led to the more chronic renal failure was unclear. or yes, it could be something degenerative and maybe even genetic. despite this, the dog was dying though we were treating it as best veterinary medicine will allow. we ( Read more... )

the canine diagnosis was ammended on monday. the cells would seem not to have traveled from node to marrow but rather from marrow to node. now the chance for response to chemo is low. if she doesn't respond we have about 2-3 weeks left. she hasn't been responding thus far. she has no other type of white blood cell evident other then the rogue ( Read more... )
