Saturday

Friday     Finished the flight at about 9-ish and met our guide, Maria, who then took us to our hotel, theAmerian. The people here are incredibly crazy drivers. Argentina and Brazil were amazing!!!  I didn't think i was as fluent in the language as I truly am which was really awesome.  I kept a journal and managed to write 28 pages or so and I'm quite proud of my efforts (even if the pages were the size of half of a normal page.)  The following is Thursday April 14th:

Well it started maybe 3 weeks back but noone is counting.  Second week in I rolled my ankle and pulled / semi-tore my hip.  That was preseason, now its only getting worse.  So much for my awesome season highjumping,  I had cleared 5'2" on the first day and that was pretty promising to me, however at this (our first) meet I couldn't get over ( Read more... )
