This week brings us the only post of this entire project where I will present you with not one, but two blocks! The reason for this, as I mentioned in
yesterday's post, is that I will be having some super-special visitors over the next week and am taking Wednesday off in order to enjoy their presence.
Reminder: If you DO NOT want to see the block before you make the pattern in order to keep it a mystery, please do not click on the cut! If you leave a comment, you will be taken behind the cut and will see the block...just FYI!
I suppose it's rather obvious just now why I thought these blocks would be the perfect two to share? I can only imagine the comments and questions if I'd posted 21 alone, with just that tiny bit of brim sticking out! Originally, I tried to make the Sorting Hat work in one block, but it just did not do the old hat justice. So, I am happy to share with you the only two blocks in the PoD that absolutely, positively must be placed side-by-side in your finished quilt. Do I have a master plan? Of course I do...but we'll get there, we'll get there! In 9 weeks or so...

Embroidery
For those of you thinking about adding embellishments to your blocks with hand embroidery, aalia7 has written a super helpful guide just for the PoD. You can find that here.
Remember, there will be no new pattern post on Wednesday, June 15. Looking for something to keep you busy? Visit the Harry Potter pattern page on Fandom In Stitches!
I'll see you next Tuesday for photos...can't wait to see what you do with this week's patterns!
