Need a yarn recommendation!

Ok so mainly knit using acrylic yarn but I have a friend who is pretty sensitive to it and she really wants me to knit her this pair of wrist warmers in house colors and if I use my normal yarn she won't be able to wear them without getting a nasty itchy rash. Perfectionism rears its ugly head!

So...this hat was done. I had like 10 stitches left on my needles. Then I noticed that in decreasing my pattern had gone awry and it was a bit on the large side.

So what's any good knitter to do? Rip it all out.
