Hermione's Fingerless Mitts
I made Hermione's cable and eyelet hat using the Hermione Hearts Ron pattern on Ravelry a while ago (December). Then, a couple weeks ago, I decided I wanted to make some matching fingerless mitts. Need some Hufflepuff help!
Hi, I'm a newbie looking for some help with a special present. My Hufflepuff friend is having her first baby (a boy), and I'd love to knit her a Hufflepuff-themed crib blanket. Perhaps with a badger or a Hufflepuff crest?

... and last month I picked up a crochet hook for the first time. After a couple of not so pretty Harry and Luna squares, I watched Lee's tutorial videos and took a shot on Sirius Black, and I love it!

Hermione's done now. That's 2 down, only 14 (I think) to go...
I think I did better keeping this one square...which excites me. Now I want to fix Harry and may try doing that tonight before starting my next square. I think it's going to be Draco because he has fewer color changes than Ron (Ron's hair looks HORRIBLE color change wise), but we'll see ( Read more... ) -

Harry Potter Portrait Square Afghan
Harry's finally finished, after much ripping out and starting over...can't wait to get going on Hermione.
He's single crochet and about 20x22. He's not exactly square on the sides (they kinda get narrow as I go up) but, I'm going to border him in black before I sew them all into the blanket, so hopefully that will fix it
