This is so cool. What always impresses me about artists is how you see the steps between what you have with the initial sketch and what you want to make. I couldn't do it, but I get how a person picks up a pencil and draws - but the rest? BAFFLED as to how you can see how to make that happen in stages.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! ♥ I love walkthroughs, for just the reasons you list here - it's so great and inspiring to see how someone made it from blank paper to finished painting.

It was fun to make, but even better to share with all of you. :) Thank you very much for looking.

That's fantastic! And very cool to be "walked through" the process that you used to achieve the effect!

Thank you. :D I love it when other artists share their techniques, so I thought it would be fun to do one of my own. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This is awesome! As someone with no artistic talent, I really liked seeing the steps you took to create the end product. It fascinates me. It's an utterly gorgeous painting.

Thank you! Even as someone who dabbles in art, I think it's fun to see how someone made stuff - it gives you such great ideas for things to try out yourself. :D So I'm glad you are enjoying this.

Wow, so glad you posted that. It seems like a very creative/daring approach and the results really payed off.

New appreciation for those spokes!

It is a fun way of painting where you get to throw a lot of water and colour around, and basically hope for the best. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Man, those spokes! Next time I'm giving them one of those racing plate-wheels and be done with it! ;)
