for some lab work.  I've got a job so far as the temp agency knows.  I just need to find out when I start.

It's second shift, but as they're just starting the shift up, I'll need to train on first shift for three to six weeks.  Oh, Boy!  Can't wait for the 40 minute drive at 6 a.m.

Anything else new happening for anyone out there?

in about 7 hours I'll be in an interview for a temp position in a company in Milford, about 35 minutes away.  It'll be for a second shift position and all right money.

Pray however you do for me to get the job.  I'm starting to go stir crazy here.

right, off to bed and see if I can sleep a little.

Went to the place and found out there's no air conditioning.  Not a problem if it wasn't 80 degrees outside, but it's also the fact it's a machine shop with plastics and the machinery makes everything about 20 degrees hotter (maybe not, but it felt like it).  The HR person I met with ushered me into the cafeteria through the floor and I almost lost ( Read more... )

why it's a good idea to wear a sleeveless shirt outside on a sunny day for more than five minutes.  I was going in and out of my aunt and uncle's house for 10 - 12 hours on Saturday and got sunburned on my shoulders.  Not my arms, just my shoulders.  Figure that one out and explain it to me ( Read more... )
