I spend 3 days a week at a local middle school, where I have become a professional at answering the questions "Why don't you substitute?" Yesterday morning was bananas. We got up at 0430 because Rob had an early flight. I've been reading a ton lately, and I am really loving April 1865 . The book flows very well, and is almost lyrical in its dissection of what was probably one of the most tumultuous months in U.S. history. Taking our cats to the vet was heart wrenching for me. They needed to be microchipped, and were due for a check up. Frazier had a weepy eye and sometimes had digestive issues, so we wanted to make sure they both were in tip top shape. Good News/Bad News
So, the good news: we won our football game 16-15 yesterday. It was such an exciting game to watch, with us squeaking by in the 4th quarter thanks to 2 long passes by a usually throwing impaired QB. Today was great. Just awesome. I was not that happy waking up, should have gone to bed earlier, but I just was not tired. I blame the cats for playing in the boxes. Yeah, that works. Oh, to be busy.
