I went to Dallas to visit my sister and her husband for Christmas with my parents. We drove there. 18 hours (driving + stops) over 2 days. 1100 miles. 1 speeding ticket.... screw you, Memphis, Texas. There's a Popeye's here! Oh how I missed Popeye's, even though the last time I had it was at the N.O. airport Saturday before I left. I'm so excited! And when I was at the one here, some guy from New Orleans comes up to me and asks me if I'm from New Orleans because I was wearing my Tulane sweatshirt, and I was in a Popeye's.

What a day!

As finals are looming, everyone starts stressing out a lot. I, on the other hand, feel completely relaxed about the finals situation. It's not just because I only have 2 that won't be too hard, but I think it's the atmosphere here. New Orleans is so laid back that I just can't feel stressed about getting my work done.
