Come the blues, which biorhythmically speaking (for me) seem to run in 1 1/2 to 2 year cycles. That's right, it's time to park in a dark room, be selfishly self-absorbed, obsessively brood, and generally display apathy towards anything that isn't a cat. You all have been warned.

Part of me wants to rant and seethe and generally be the same angry overpoliticized person I have been since the age of, oh say, 14. I've been on both sides of the fencee, and currently place myself so far from it that I'm not sure I'm in the same field anymore ( Read more... )

Anyone have any thoughts on Mother Theresa. I knew 'holy' people had doubts, but it's a bit daunting when the only one I've followed in my life says she quite frequently doubted god's existence. Lends credence to my own belief, though. :)

So I watched the CNN specials on God's Warriors from each of the three faith perspectives. It was interesting stuff because it seems that fundamentalism seems to stem from the same kinds of lives in many cases. So I am officially the new daytime sleep technician - salaried, 40 hours, no weekends, etc. I will take a moment to bask in my success - that should do it. This actually means some good things for non-work life as well. More evening time means more time to study for exam means I may get to relax and breath a second or two ...
