So sunday I went to akihabara electric city (electronics shopping area) and another nearby shopping district with my attractive female boss to look into cellphones and internet. Does anyone else find the olympics slightly depressing in that there are dozens of kids as much as 6 or 7 years younger achieving way more fame than you could ever hope to in your lifetime? The past couple weeks have solidifed a belief I've had for a long time: I need goals. Being in limbo like this is really not a good situation for me because when I don't have a lot to do, it becomes next to impossible to do even that little bit, where as when I have tons to do, I can be pretty damn productive. I leave on my trip tomorrow. I'll be in Greece from May 22 to June 2 and Italy from June 2 to June 12. I'm really excited about the Greece portion. It's with my uncle whom I really like, I know some of the language and the culture, and I've wanted to go for forever ( Read more... )
