Hey! I'm totally going to start writing here again! Does anyone even still look at this?

Things are going ok. We are looking for a roommate for December 1st, so send anyone who wants to live with me in Brooklyn my way. My hair is getting really long. Against all odds, I have started seeing a really nice and funny guy. Cool!

Any of you ever wear Spanx? I just bought my first pair!

EDIT: I didn't buy a girdle. Apparently that's the standard Spanx product. I just bought their pantyhose. It'll probably just be like extra awesome control-top tights.

I haven't seen much Jon and Kate Plus Eight, and I'm embarassed to be even addressing this, but I think all the "ZOMG KATE IS SUCH A BITCH I HATE HER POOR JON" is pretty indicative of the bizarro sexist culture in which we live. Oh! But also, the comments on the AV Club article made me happy, because I discovered that there are a great many people out there who think that the "No Big Loss" chapter in "The Stand" is one of the best.

Also, I saw Versus tonight and they were awesome.

Like some of you, I am an unrepentant Stephen King geekasaurus. I haven't really followed his latest stuff, but when I have kids, I'll definitely look the other way when they get curious about his books.
