Back from day 3 of scrubbing sea birds. It really hasn't been all that bad. On some level the birds seem to know we're trying to help them, so they are (usually) pretty cooperative - that or too sick to struggle. The only thing that will fix this oil spill is a nuclear weapon detonated in a 100 meter deep undersea borehole. the russians are quite experienced in solving exactly this type of eco-crisis, and that's exactly how they do it.
