Social security is broken because it was devised in a time when most folks weren't expected to live past 65, and if you made it to 70 you were a lucky one indeed.

Fah! Just got told the TV show I do weekly is on hiatus till september. I realize the camera crew is all australian and this is when they take their holidays, but I kind of schedule my whole week around that TV show. Now i'm just bored >.

I really wonder why scripters/coders often tend to be flaky. In dozens of times dealing with them in business, I'd venture to guess that more than half of them have had a tendency to miss deadlines, stop work, get bored, give up, and otherwise make a project cycle hell.

I wonder why its perfectly OK to show two women on network TV totally going lesbo on eachother (Girls gone Wild, anything on Cinemax past 10 pm), but if you so much as show two guys kissing, everyone has a conniption.

Kind of a vicious double-standard.

I agree with Athelind. I honestly do see the US headed towards dissolution into regional nations within a few years. Not sure that's a bad thing, either.
