For those in the area, we will be holding a wake at Nicole and Jeff's house on Saturday, April 28th from 2:00p.m. until it ends. Our address is 401 West Grand Ave, St. Joseph, IL.
Nicole wished everyone to wear bright colors to her funeral and to remember her well. I assured her that would not be hard to accomplish.

The world should have stopped.
Nicole has gone. She left us last night at 11:30pm. All of her family were around her bed. I'll post more later, but she had the passing that she wanted. We sang songs and told stories. Her father, mother, and I were with her constantly for the last 96 hours. She couldn't talk, but she could listen, and I spent all of the nights up and talking to ( Read more... ) -

Nicole is in the hospital. She has been here 10 days. This stay started with fluid collecting in her interstitial spaces and elevated blood ammonia levels due to lowered liver function. During the last week, she gained 35 pounds of fluid weight. They attempted to assist the expulsion of ammonia using lactulose ( Read more... ) -

Truth, Reality, and my Birthday -part 1
In just about a week, I will be 34 years old. Nearly half a decade from the day I wrote the post below. It has nothing to do with cancer really, but the Big Picture somehow seemed fitting to dig up and revisit this week.
