Ruth Kelly, MP for Bolton West and Minister for Equality, exhorts us all to fight extremism, not only in Muslims, but the "still poisonous" far-right. Good for her.

Extremism such as outright homophobia, perhaps, which is a fundamental teaching of Opus Dei, the branch of the Catholic Church of which Ms. Kelly is a member. Good for her.
