wow, almost a month since i wrote here. things are going well, pretty much the same, except everybody goes to bed by about 9 since it's chilly and it gets dark so early. i'm doing Good things at school (and occasionally bad things) and getting comfortable in the village (if a bit cold. it's not as cold as it would be at home, but it gets down below

I've actually seen the old mammy cartoons. Are you seeing em old enough to have her calling tom "jasper"? That was his original name.

Also, did you know that watching Tom and Jerry at 2am was one of the first things your sister and I did together? (And we did it frequently.) This was after, of course, her and Jaclyn sitting at my lunch table because I looked lonely. Crap, it's not just Thai people who think so...

Yeah, watching Tom and Jerry at 2 am with Chris was one of my favorite things to do freshman year of college. Ahhhh the good ole days.

Hi Shane!

Will you be back in the U.S. for the holidays? If yes, would you be able to come to our wedding? It's on January 3rd. We didn't know if you'd be back or not.

i will not, unfortunately, but i do wish you an awesome wedding and awesomer honeymoon or whatever. i miss you guys, and when i come back to the US to visit, i will come and see you. maybe next january.
