Inky died last night.

So, two weeks before Christmas I got laid off from my job at the animal hospital. I've been trying to find a real job, instead of another temporary position, but odds are low that I'll manage to find one. However, I'm trying to stay positive, and I do happen to have a backup. This week at work has been probably the most insane i've worked since i started my job. short on people, long on surgeries and emergencies. I've had three 10 hour days, and tomorrow will be at least another 9, and then saturday, which will be 7 hours, but that is our open hours plus an hour after closing ( Read more... )

I am in the process of adopting my third (and hopefully final) kitty. He is a gorgeous blue point siamese, with cute cross-eyes.
I am hoping he gets along well with my other kitties, but he seems pretty laid back.

I am trying to think of a name for him and these are my ideas so far:

Linnaeus
Columbo
Mercury

I need more ideas!

I might be getting another cat. I'm a sucker for a siamese.
