I don't know when the last time I cried was, but I know I didn't cry as intensely as I did today.

I was going to continue with the previous entry after I got back, but it doesn't seem worth it now.

Well, things don't get much worse than this, do they? I should know by now not to say that - after all, things will always find a way. I just overheard my parents talking about me. I never like eavesdropping because apart from it being a sin, it's very rare to hear anything positive said about yourself. On a slightly more subdued note, I visited my cousin on the weekend who has just been diagnosed with emphysema and lung cancer. One doctor has given her two months to live, another has said it's impossible to give any life expectancy at this stage. It makes me wonder if they give contradicting evidence intentionally in order to prepare the patient ( Read more... )
