Fic: Sigh No More

Feb 19, 2009 19:28

Title:  Sigh No More
Author:  Davnee
Rating:  K+
Summary:  My expanded take on the "rack scene" from the end of Taking A Break From All Your Worries (Season 3).  I'd call this a ficlet, except it is just over 1,000 words.  Apologies to Shakespeare for the title and very special thanks to the as always magnificent unavitasegreta  for her help.

Sigh No More ... )

I am rather magnificent, aren't I? ;-)

I love how you did this one. It's one of those scenes where we are just thrown into it and left with so many questions. I like how you attempted to answer them but let the tone of the scene and the discussion lead the story. Fabulous as always!

I knew my praise would draw you out. And you got here quick! ;) Thanks for all your help. Next time I'll try and write something less moody.

I'm an attorney. We are all over praise. (You criticize us and we're sending our paralegal.) I adore being able to 'help' though you don't need it. And moody is fine with me!

See that's why I need a TA. To deal with the students that don't love me. ;)

This has always been one of my favorite scenes and I appreciate the take on it. The last line = awesomeness.

Must you really keep your gushing to a minimum? ;) I'm glad you liked the last line. Too bad they kept that distance for so long!

Just prefect. The parallel between Roslin's heart and Adama's desire to mend it and the relation to the fleet - just prefect.

I can't stop saying it.

/slow clap.

Nice, very nice. And thank you for finally giving me where "hey nonny, nonny" came from. It's used in a Doctor Who episode by Shakespeare as he sees Martha Jones. XD I always wondered where that was from.

Thanks! And I'm glad I could answer your Shakespeare question. I love when little puzzles like that get solved. :)
