Relief
This is my word of the day. My last entry was fraught with anxiety and this one is full of relief. My father-in-law got the results of his chest xray. There was no movement in his lungs so it looks like it is not mesothelioma at this time. He has to go back in 6 months for another one, but the prognosis is good. Memories
I've been having terrible insomnia and headaches lately. It's all due to stress. My sister in law passed away a couple of weeks ago at the age of 48 from liver failure. My father in law goes tomorrow for his chest scan to see if whatever is in his lungs has spread. They know he has asbestosis, but he may have possible mesothelioma. I had two ( Read more... ) -
Haven't got time for the pain
Guess I'm going to have to make time for it, because it's constant now. My lupus is changing lately. My legs ache all the time now and it's not in the usual spot this time. It's not in my joints like it usually is, I'm feeling it in the front of my legs and hips. I've been having a lot of cramps too. I'm going to talk to my PCP about it Monday ( Read more... ) -

I got lucky!
I never win anything. Well, imagine my surprise when I got a phone call from the Central Florida Fairgrounds telling me I won a quilt. How cool is that? I had a relatively quiet weekend. LUPUS SUCKS!!!!
I really want to die...or at least I feel like I am. I knew I've been over-doing it and now I'm paying the price. I've got shooting pains up both my legs and it's keeping me awake. No, I'm not a super freak. It was one of the songs in a Name That Tune trivia game that I played at a dinner party Friday night. I got all 10 songs and one of the songs was Rick James Super Freak and some of the other players hadn't even heard the song. Of course, most of them were well over 50. A dorky Minnesotan freezing in Florida
I had a very busy weekend, but let me touch on my subject line. I went to Jetty Park at the Cape today and I must have looked like a complete dork.
