Got a sort of a kind of hint of an invitation to talk to someone I absolutely adore about a job he might have for me. This would mean not having to work for newboss. I now have a good
reason to want an agent:

Because I need someone who can be as obsessed by my work after I'm done working on it as I am while I work on it.

That is also too much to expect from an agent, of course. Maybe what I want is a stalker who will take 15% of royalties.

Full of the ouch & but I don't want to talk about that. What is more interesting? (I wish I could make the rest of this entry sparkle & lift the hair gently off the back of your neck like a cool breeze on a hot day.)
