So, today I want to stand up and applaud my Prime Minister and possibly follow it up with a cigarette.  Watching her take down our misogynistic, stuck in the dark ages opposition leader was beyond satisfying.  Watch.  Admire.

So the ABC just finished airing a 6 episode show that wasn't brilliant, but that made me laugh and laugh and laugh, and was kind of adorable. It's called Outland, and it's about a gay & lesbian science fiction group. Here's a picture of the characters:

An unexpected side effect of reading hockey fic is that I've found myself missing the time when I was a sports fan and followed multiple football codes closely. The new Fast and Furious movie made me so, so, so happy. ( A couple of spoilers )

And all I have to say is I'm quite enjoying the new Panic at Disco album. The percussion and interludes are catchy and charming.

Also, bring on Fast Five and Game of Thrones.
