Wow, your first earthquake! I grew up with little earthquakes in Northern CA, and even when you know what they are, they're still really surprising in the moment. Glad nothing fell on you!

I woke up to my TV antenna rattling against the wall. I thought that's an annoying noise and reached my hand over to stabalize it. For a second I worried that my glass vase with bamboo, rocks and water would fall over, but then I fell back asleep before I could do anything about it.

I had friends that fell back asleep. I doubt I'll ever be able to sleep through an earthquake, I sleep to light.

By the way, today is the 102nd anniversary of the big SF earthquake of 1906. Freaky coincidence, no?
