Well, Christmas is hardly the time for melancholy thoughts. And so far, this year, I've actually had a really awesome time. Being off school is wonderful, and I am thoroughly loving all this time I get to spend with my family. I am such a bad person. It's been almost a week and a half hiatus for my novel, which, thanks to my persistent characters, is getting kicked back into gear once more. Lots of work. I've just finished another novella (huzzah!) that ended at 36,000 some odd words (6,000 words over my original goal). It's called Heart of the Dragon, and it's my sad, sad attempt at romance. I can't wait for NaNoWriMo, which is just around the corner. Sitting here, signing books, which makes me happy. I have no idea how to sign a book. I mean, I have had one or two books sign, but I'm new to this and I'm afraid it will come out as just plain... stupid. Ah, well, at least right now it is mostly for friends and family.
