I came into work to find a stickie on my monitor from one of my co-workers. It read: Overheard in a meeting with a client: When we said 'recycled,' we were talking about a 'look.'

I returned home to find my partner sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor, crushing walnuts with a drywall hammer.

How's this for a trip for you: Up Ellingwood Point via the North Ridge (5.2) from the Lily Lake basin, down to Como Lake, camp (Extra Credit: hide for three hours while it hails so hard you worry it's going to rip your tent) Then up Little Bear by the Hourglass, across the Little Bear to Blanca traverse (to Blanca, obviously), back to Ellingwood ( Read more... )
