taking my time
nine-thirty in the morning
sitting outside
in the sunshine my shoulders warm
tea mixed with honey in hand
a touch of sugar to open up my eyes
late april
young trees leafless
but far from lifeless
bursting blooming alive

I spy from this window 4 small daffodils peaking their pretty little yellow heads out of the earth
