Here comes the cold...now I can look forward to such things as:

- the olive oil solidfying in the kitchen
- the honey freezing in the cupboards
- cooking with a toque
- wearing thermal underwear from mountain equipment co-op almost permanently
- having the neighbours assume we're serial killers because we're always chopping wood out front

i'm picturing you and scott chopping wood in front of a little log cabin and dancing around like in seven brides for seven brothers. it's charming!

Lisa says that you warm yourselves with coal. I picture a scene out of some Industrial Revolution-themed novel written for preteens, possibly by Joan Aiken, with you and Scott out on the cobblestones in your fingerless gloves, following the coal-truck and picking up whatever bits fall onto the street. Oh!

When are you thinking of arriving in London on the 16th? Or did I already email you to ask? I forget things.
