It's "How's the baby?" or "How's Fiona?".

And I'd say, "She's doing great.".  For the 2 and a half month milestone, I guess I can say she's doing great.  Crying now exists for only two things and can be differentiated by pitch for the various reasons: "I'm tired!  Put me to sleep!" or "I'm hungry!".

Entering month 2, month 1 seems to have flown by so fast.  (Do you know in Hungary they have 2 years maternity leave??!  Of which, they pay you the full salary the first year and half salary the second year.)  Nonetheless, confinement was no walk in the park - with the heat, tons of food stuffed in me, fatigue, lack of sleep, breastfeeding problems ( Read more... )

I have 2 days leave so clearing it up for a long weekend.  It's wondeful not to have to go to work.  =) =) =)  I'm all beaming.  I feel strange now that I have to lead a team.  I mean it's been a year and finally, the older ones go around calling me "boss" and "my boss is reasonable - I can talk to her".  And it's flattering really.  More good to ( Read more... )

And all of a sudden, all energy is zapped from me.  There's still much to declutter and space for the new maid required, I think I'll leave some of the stuff to the new maid.  I'm physically getting exhausted more easily.  On the plus side, I now know the value of good shoes (or slippers for that matter).  My flat slippers are too thin at the soles ( Read more... )

Shea butter can only take you so far.  It doesn't aggravate the process but I think it's partly genetic.  Or so I think, anyway, I've tried 4 brands and it's still showing.  Bleah...now I need a really taut tummy thereafter and light skin tone to hide the marks ( Read more... )

I've got my 4th checkup tomorrow.  A bit frightful, since my last update.  Plus the fact that I'm not showing as much as others are at 4.5months.  I look like others when they are at 3 months.

Anyways, the last update from my checkup was to do another round of tests.  Results showed all ok but doctors worry about the growth rate of the foetus.  ( Read more... )
