So good to be back outdoors. The icy weather and frigid winds are simply invigorating. It's a great start to any morning, despite the firecracker shell casings that litter the floor. You'd think someone would have cleaned these up right now. I'll have to peck the grounds keeper's eyes out when I see him.

Thank Horus THAT'S over. I don't think I can stand any more bright lights and bad singing. Lord Dio, if I may... I'd like to request to spend New Year's Eve indoors. I'm not particularly fond of fireworks and the noises they give off.

Oh, and it seems someone has left me a gift.

After spending some time indoors mainly because I had to clean egg out of my feathers, I'm back outside. It feels so much nicer than it did before. Nice and icy... Horus and I are going to have so much fun this winter!

That stupid holiday is next week, isn't it? More kids in costumes trying to scam us for sweets, and then Lord Dio complains because their blood makes him hyper. It's like Thanksgiving, only with less fat and more sugar.

Ugh... being a guard bird is tiring work. I've already had to kill turn away five strays and a drunk bum. At least the weather is turning cooler. It's about time, too. There's nothing worse than calling your stand and having it melt ten seconds later. Soon, it'll be winter ( Read more... )
