The smell of the bloating carcasses of thousands of drowned worms littering the pavement assaulted me as I walked across the quad today. It was terrible, I couldn't walk without stepping on at least three. Poor little things. But they smelled so gross. And the swimming pool/pond/lake was back in that one corner of the quad. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!

Mary and I went to Tomatina with my dad for dinner tonight. Their food is SO GOOD. And we all had the brownie desert, with caramel and vanilla gelato. It was ORGASMIC, honestly. Today was kind of a rainy, cloudy, seattle day, and it made me sad. I want California to always be sunny and hot and perfect. :) Oh well. I miss Seattle too, I think that's why it made me sad. • sunshine on warm, blue-sky days
• the soft crinkle noise that palm trees make in the gentle breeze as i walk under them on the way to class
• bright, pretty colored clothes
• popping my collar (it makes me feel like a rebel)
• wearing flip flops

Ah, my throat is all scratch-ly. It's not pleasant. And my nose is starting to get sniffly. So I've been popping the Vitamin C like none other, trying to nip this cold in the bud... The weather down here is so sporadic. It's bizarre, especially since I'm used to the constant Seattle drizzle and cloudy gloom. Today I went to class and it was raining out, and cold.
