It occurred to me that it's been waaaay long since I posted in this journal. Life has been moving at a frightening pace and I looked up and it's been over a year since I updated this thing.

Our baby, Mary Margaret Sue Fesh, was born December 20, 2006 at 3:22am. She weighed 5 lbs, 1 oz, was 16 3/4" long and came almost 7 weeks early. We weren't expecting her until February 5th of this year, but she decided she wanted to arrive before Christmas! It was the best Christmas gift we've ever received! I've decided to try my hand at growing fresh herbs. I figure this is something I can do with the very little space I have since we're in an apartment. Perhaps when we eventually get a house, I'll do a full-on garden. For now though, I'm content to do a few potted herbs. I went to Pike Family Nurseries and bought:

Well, in an effort to conceive a child, DH and I are still doing the horizontal hula. And even though we're coming up on six months of marriage this Friday, I still love it just as much as the first time on our wedding night (which was, incidentally, my first time too). It's official!! I am an aunt as of April 28, 2006! My sister-in-law gave birth via C-section to Kitty Elizabeth who weighed 2 lbs 15.75 oz. and was either 16" or 17" long. Both mom and baby are doing great despite the premature birth. Theresa, my SIL, was only 31 weeks (one week shy of 8 mos) and had to be put on bed rest last week due to ( Read more... )
