How're you doing on that?
Supposedly, I've been trying his plan for the past couple of years, but I always get hung up on the saving 1000 for emergencies bit. I can't ever seem to make it to that mark to start paying off things.

Well, so far I'm trying to get all our bills current. My next task is to create a budget for us. That might be helpful for you in regard to getting past the first step. If you save a little each month ($50-100 or whatever you can) and maybe sell some stuff too (we're contemplating selling our futon in the bargain classifieds) it shouldn't take too long to get you over that first hump. Also, if you think you'll get any money back in tax refunds, you can sock that away as emergency fund money.

So to answer your question, we haven't really done all that much just yet, but the ball is rolling and once I get our bills current, I think it's going to pick up speed. Let me know if any of this helps you or if I can help you out at all.
