3.9 was the first warm day of 2020
I spent it with my family and my dad watched the first hour or so of Walk the Line with me, even though I thought he had been putting out disinterested vibes. Today I got up before noon and went with Viola for a belated birthday trip around. We took the Red Line as far as its wobbling wheels would take us then took shuttle buses. Leap Day Fancy Night
Tonight, being the night of leap day, I thought it might be nice to try to do Fancy Night, which various iterations of my friendgroup have been attempting to organize ourselves for since 2018. Fancy Night is getting dressed up to the nines and then going somewhere banal, like IHOP or Wendy's. Tonight it was McDonald's.

You can't argue with yourself if it's what you want. Maybe someday in the future I'll look back and bemoan not being in the Halloween spirit the week of Halloween, but I'm just not. I ruined my DDF costume and it's going to pour so the Robin costume I got probably isn't going to get worn, anyway. I spent something like $140 on all this costume shit ( Read more... )
