Anna was at first startled, and then relieved to find the door to her room open when she wandered back down from visiting the roof again. Relieved because, well, she didn't have the key. Her dress didn't have pockets, and she wasn't used to needing a key besides (not that she needed it now, but her roommate might notice if she started walking through walls).

"Hello, Stacey," she said as she entered the room and went to sit down on her bed. She mentally added 'sheets' to the list of things she was going to need if she wanted to look something like normal. "I hope you're settling in well."

And seriously, she could take all of the closet, Anna was pretty sure she couldn't even take this dress off.

"More or less," she said thoughtfully. "I think I need to stop thinking about it like my old school." Where shoes were required. "How are you doing a couple days in?"

"Nervous," Anna admitted. "I can't believe classes start tomorrow." She couldn't believe she had to go to classes. "The schedule isn't...do they normally only have class one day a week n--in the States?"

"No. Not that I'm going to be upset about that or anything," Stacey said quickly. "Usually we have the same classes every day for seven or eight periods. This is... new."
