You'll kindly note that it's actually "Ah, the illusions of youth," which is a Joe Orton reference, although who would get it or why I would make it is beyond me, because I'm not even that big a fan of his work. I'm just, you know, fascinated.

I have to admit that, having only lived in one apartment, at the age of 1, and that apartment having been a top-story one, I cannot truly imagine the horror of an untended faucet. Still, though.

I do in fact. This is partially because I suck, and partially because at this point the compilation looms as perhaps the only thing I will actually complete during my lifetime. Setting aside a touch of OCD that will not allow me to stop rearranging the order of the tracks, there remains the issue of my computer. There are a number of things which a computer must be able to do in order for me to create a mix with it; my computer will consent to do none of these things. But I'm trying. It seems like every time I go and see a movie, that stupid preview is showing. It almost makes me want to go see it at the crest just to find out how awful it is.

Yeah, they really have a saturation campaign going. My favorite bit is the part where the faucets all go on in a row, and it's supposed to be eery. Isn't it odd that I've seen the trailer enough times to have developed a favorite part?
