Scene: A cruel 7:30 A.M. A housecleaning company's office in SODO. Workers are preparing for a meeting. Two of them, strangers, are off to the side. One turns to the other and begins a conversation.

Her: Do you consider yourself emo?

First and foremost, I MISS YOUR FACE. Second, HAH! That is so classic. It's especially good because I had a 14-year-old girl tell me how hott (yes, with two t's) she and her friends thought you were when they saw you at the Y.

I'm sorry I couldn't make it; like I said, playing the show was a big deal for a number of us, and I got home late and quite exhausted. You can only carry so many amplifiers in a day before it's time for bed. How did it go, anyway?

It was really fun. There were a lot more people there than we usually get, and they seemed pretty into it. The room was really long, though, so the acoustics were all weird and it sounded like we were underwater, which was kind of cool and kind of a pain in the ass.
