I would recommend her so much that I am thinking of giving a knuckle sandwich to anyone who DOESN'T go to Amy from now on.

It was just so nice to have the entire experience go well. I've been tattooed by a jerk who made the whole thing annoying (I don't even like the tattoo now because of him) and a few other people who have been perfectly polite and professional and have done a great job. But having someone so sweet and who had such great ideas made the whole thing just awesome. I think it was even less painful because she was so entertaining to listen to. She's pretty much the cutest girl ever, as well as funny and talented. If you're in Melbourne, I definately suggest her. (I'm not in Melbourne, and if I wasn't going to the same shop she used to work at to see another awesome artist, I'd be making regular trips over there)

You know, my original idea was just to have a few birds alone on my shoulder, but my boyfriend suggested leaves and the little trails and I told him I wasn't keen on that. Then when Amy was sketching it on my arm she said, "You know, I thought the tree on this page looked really good, and these little trails, too. What do you think?" She drew it on my arm for me to see her idea and I realised that everyone was suggesting it because it was a great freaking idea. My beloved is huffy that I didn't listen when he told me but I have explained to him that he planted the idea in my head.
