I know that winter is here because today is the first day we have to open the window to get the room cool enough to operate.

I experienced this same phenomenon when I was working in the public schools. Why do NYC offices and classrooms have the heat cranked so much that people need to open the windows in fucking February when it's -10 degrees out?

Hello Livejournal. I am making a return visit... I keep thinking each return will be a longer stay but I get distracted. Tonight, Ann Arbor. Canterbury House. 8PM.

Solo music and trio with Steve Rush and Jason Stein. then tomorrow is Monroe, MI in the afternoon and Detroit (Bohemian National Home) in the evening.

And next Friday I'm back in NYC. Can I call this the home stretch yet? Maybe after I leave Michigan on Monday morning...

I flew into NYC on Monday. I have officially determined that my #1 pet peeve is peole crowding the baggage return. If everyone stood a few feet back and only stepped forward when they saw their bag, I really truly believe that the world would be a better place.
